Roulette lobby
What Is in the Roulette Lobby
The Aussie Play roulette range is built around three wheel styles: European, American and French, with several versions of the first two sitting side by side.
On top of the classic wheels you get European Roulette Deluxe, Dragon Roulette and Double Dragon Roulette, plus the live dealer tables. The casino lists 29 table games in total, so roulette shares the shelf with blackjack, baccarat and video poker. For a wider view of the library, the games page covers every category.
Use the filter below to narrow the list by wheel type, search a table by name, or flip the switch to see only wheels returning 97% and up. Every card opens the game through the casino.
The RTP labels on the cards are wheel maths, not casino figures: 97.30% for a single-zero wheel, 94.74% for a double-zero wheel. Dragon variants show no label.

The live section holds seven games in all, and four of them are roulette. Two are standard live tables and two are Auto tables, each pair in an American and a European flavour. Live games need deposited funds, which matters if you are carrying a bonus, and we come back to that further down.
Odds and risk
RTP and Volatility
RTP is the part of every stake that comes back to players across a very long run of rounds. In roulette it is fixed by the wheel, not by the casino, so the numbers below hold for any fair table with the same pockets.
| Wheel | Zero pockets | House edge | RTP |
|---|---|---|---|
| European | 1 | 2.70% | 97.30% |
| French | 1 | 2.70% | 97.30% |
| American | 2 (0 and 00) | 5.26% | 94.74% |
Swipe to see the table
The extra 00 pocket on the American wheel doubles the house edge, so at Aussie Play roulette the European and French tables are the better value. The casino does not publish a separate RTP for each game, and we do not claim any rule beyond the wheel itself.
Volatility is about the bet, not the table
Two players on the same wheel can have a very different ride. What changes is the bet you place. On a single-zero wheel a straight-up bet on one number wins with a probability of 1/37, about 2.70%, and pays 35:1. An even-money bet such as red or black wins with 18/37, about 48.65%, and pays 1:1.
Both bets carry the same 2.70% edge in the long run, yet they feel nothing alike. The straight-up bet loses most spins and now and then pays big, while the even-money bet hovers around break-even with small swings. On the American wheel the same bets win with 1/38 and 18/38, which is why the odds drop a little.
High swing
- BetStraight up
- Win chance (1 zero)1/37
- Payout35:1
Low swing
- BetRed or black
- Win chance (1 zero)18/37
- Payout1:1
Neither style beats the wheel. If you play on a budget, even-money bets make a session last longer, and number bets suit short bursts. Pick the pace that matches your bankroll, then set a deposit limit that holds whatever happens.
Main versions
Popular Roulette Titles
The names in the lobby tell you most of what you need. Anything beyond that, such as extra bets or special payouts, is shown in the info screen of each game, so open it before your first spin.
European Roulette
The classic single-zero wheel with 37 pockets. It appears in several versions in the lobby, so you can pick the table look you like best.
American Roulette
A double-zero wheel with 38 pockets and the higher house edge. It also comes in several versions.
French Roulette
A single-zero wheel with the same 97.30% maths as the European one, played at the French table.
European Roulette Deluxe
A European table in a Deluxe edition. Check its info screen to see which extras it adds.
Dragon Roulette
A themed variant. Its rules and payouts are listed inside the game, and no RTP label is shown for it on this page.
Double Dragon Roulette
A second Dragon-style table with its own rules. Read the game info before betting, since special rules can change how a bet pays.
Other table games between roulette sessions
When you want a break from the wheel, the table section has plenty to try: Blackjack, Baccarat, Jacks or Better video poker, Pontoon, Pirate 21 and Dice are all one click away.
Behind the tables
Providers
Aussie Play does not name the studios that build its games, and the roulette tables are no exception. We will not guess a name, so the lobby itself is the best clue.
The same title often appears more than once. You will find European Roulette and American Roulette in several versions, each with different artwork, which points to separate builds of the same wheel rather than one game copied.
The live dealer tables are streamed from a studio that is not named either. Results come from a Random Number Generator, and no testing lab is named on the site. For questions about a specific table, 24/7 live chat is the quickest route.

Hold the phone in portrait for a quick bet on the layout, or turn it sideways to see the whole table and the wheel at once. Live tables work on mobile too, so a dealer or an automatic wheel can run in your pocket. A stable connection matters more here, since a live stream drinks data faster than a virtual wheel.
Your account, balance and cashier are the same on every device. If you want to know how money moves, see the payments page.
Bonus rules
Roulette and Bonuses
Before you sit at a wheel with bonus money, know how the welcome offer treats table games. The WELCOMESPACE package gives 250% on each of the first 3 deposits, up to A$7,500 in total, with 40x wagering on deposit plus bonus.
- What it covers: video slots, keno, scratch cards, board games and card games
- Wagering: 40x on deposit plus bonus
- Max bet: A$10 while you wager the bonus
- Card games: count 20% towards wagering
- Live dealer: only with deposited funds
- Roulette weight: not published
The wagering weight of roulette is not published, so ask 24/7 live chat before you play it with a bonus. Live roulette tables never use bonus funds.
To plan the first deposit, the minimum deposit page lists the entry amount for each method, from A$10 with Neosurf. Bonuses are not added automatically, so claim yours in the cashier or through live chat.
Before you play
Checklist Before You Start
Spend a few minutes on setup and the wheel stays fun. Run through this list before your first session.
- Pick your wheel. Choose European or French for the 97.30% return, or American if you like the 00 layout and accept the 94.74%.
- Read the info screen. Extra rules are not listed on the site, so each table tells you its own.
- Check the table limits. The range sits in the game window, and A$10 is the cap on any bet while a bonus is active.
- Decide on the bonus. Live roulette needs deposited funds, and the roulette weight is not published, so ask live chat first.
- Plan your cashout. Payouts start at A$150, and the withdrawal times page shows how long each method takes.
- Verify early. Photo ID, card and proof of address are needed before the first payout, see verification.
- Set limits. Ask support for deposit limits or self-exclusion at any time. For free counselling call Gambling Help Online (1800 858 858); BetStop lives at betstop.gov.au.
Roulette is a game of chance. No betting pattern or system changes the house edge, and the tables are for adults aged 18 or older.
FAQ
Aussie Play Roulette FAQ
Does Aussie Play have live dealer roulette?
Yes. The live dealer section lists four roulette tables: Live American Roulette, Live European Roulette, Live Auto American Roulette and Live Auto European Roulette. The studio behind them is not named by the casino.
Which Aussie Play roulette wheel has the best odds?
A single-zero wheel. European and French roulette have one zero pocket, a 2.70% house edge and a 97.30% return over the long run. American roulette has 0 and 00, so the edge is 5.26% and the return 94.74%.
Are the RTP labels on the cards casino figures?
No. They show the maths of the wheel itself, 97.30% for one zero and 94.74% for two. No RTP is published by the casino for each roulette game, and the Dragon variants carry no label here.
Does Aussie Play offer La Partage or En Prison?
The casino does not publish a rule list for each roulette version, so we cannot confirm either rule. Check the info screen within the game ahead of your bet to see what that table offers.
Can I play roulette with the welcome bonus?
The WELCOMESPACE offer covers video slots, keno, scratch cards, board games and card games, and live dealer tables need deposited funds. The wagering weight of roulette is not published, so ask 24/7 live chat before you play it with bonus money.
Is there an Aussie Play roulette app?
There is no app to download. Roulette runs in the browser on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows and Mac, and a home-screen shortcut gets you back to the tables with one tap.
What are the minimum and maximum bets?
Table limits are not published on the site. Each table shows its own range in the game window, so check it before you place a chip. The maximum bet is A$10 for as long as a bonus is running.
Who makes the roulette games at Aussie Play?
The casino does not name its game studios, so we do not either. Several tables share the same name with different artwork, which points to separate builds of the same wheel.
