In short: every limit, code and time on this site is read from an official Aussie Play page, dated, and checked again on a schedule. If a number cannot be confirmed, the page says it is not published.

The person behind it

Who we are

This guide has a single author on purpose. When one person writes, checks and signs every page, the owner of each judgement is clear, and so is the person to ask.

The method on this page is how we fact check: it covers licence wording, cashier limits, bonus terms and game counts for Aussie Play and for Australian players only. There is no pool of freelancers and no changing byline.

Nathan Boyle

Payments & Pokies Editor

Nathan has followed Australian online casinos since 2017 and now writes only about Aussie Play. His background is in payments, so he reads a cashier the way a banker would: limits, settlement windows and the wording behind them.

He reads the sources, writes the page, dates it and answers the reader reports that come in.

When we get it wrong

How we fix mistakes

Casino terms change, so sooner or later a statement here will have gone stale or turned out wrong. What matters is what happens next, and it always happens in the same order.

  1. A report arrives

It can come from a reader or from our own re-check. A report can be as short as "the page says A$30, my cashier says A$20".

  2. We go back to the source

Before touching anything we open the official page again, whether that is the terms, the banking page or the promotion. We reply to readers within two business days, even when the page turns out to be right.

  3. The figure is corrected in place

A wrong number is replaced, not deleted. Text that depended on it, such as a table row, a summary line or an answer in the FAQ, is changed in the same edit.

  4. The dates move

After a real correction, the byline shows a new "Updated" date and a new "Last checked" date. We never move a date to look fresh when nothing has changed.

  5. Unclear facts are labelled

If the casino does not publish an answer, the page states "not published" rather than guessing. That keeps a gap from turning into a false claim later.

What gets checked

Verification protocol

This is how we fact check the six groups of facts that players act on most. Each one is checked against an official page every time, never remembered from the last visit.

  • Licence line

We quote the casino's own wording about the Anjouan licence. The licence number and the operator are marked as not published, because the casino does not publish them.

  • Limits

Minimum and maximum deposit and payout amounts are read from the banking page and matched with the terms.

  • Wagering

Multipliers, maximum bet and cashout caps come from the bonus terms, never from a banner that may be older.

  • Codes

Each bonus code is compared with the live promotion page, including which deposits and games it covers.

  • Cashier methods

A payment method is listed only if it appears in the casino's own cashier information. If it is missing there, we say so plainly.

  • Game counts

Totals and categories are taken from the game lobby on the date shown, since a lobby changes as games are added.

How often: every page shows a "Last checked" date. Payment and bonus pages are reviewed monthly, the rest quarterly, and any page is checked again as soon as the casino changes its terms or a reader flags a difference.

Where the effort goes

Evaluation criteria with weights

These weights describe how much care each topic gets when facts are collected and written up. They do not amount to a judgement of the casino, and no score is ever given to Aussie Play.

The weights add up to 100%. Banking and bonus terms carry the most because a wrong limit or wagering figure costs a player real money, while a wrong game count costs far less. Banking covers deposits, payouts and verification, and licence covers the licence wording and the safety page.

The record

Our check: what we verified and when

Below is every official Aussie Play page used for this guide, with the version date we checked. Some pages are older than others because the casino has not changed them since, and we do not hide that.

If you open the same page and see a newer date, the casino has published a newer version since our check. Treat our table as a snapshot of the day we read it, and use the checklist further down to confirm the details for yourself.

The first ten rows are the casino's official pages; the last row is this site, whose pages were last checked on 13 October 2026. The figures on the payments page and the withdrawal times page come mainly from the banking page and the terms.

Do it yourself

Checklist before you start

Nothing here needs to be taken on trust. Ahead of a deposit, run through these steps, the same ones we use to fact check a page, and compare the numbers against the casino's own pages.

  • Open the terms. Find the wagering multiplier, the maximum bet while wagering and the cashout cap, then compare them with what you read on any bonus page.
  • Read the cashier, not the banner. The minimum for your own method is shown at the point of payment and is the number that counts.
  • Look at the date. A figure with no date, here or anywhere else, cannot be placed in time. Ours always show "Last checked".
  • Match the licence wording. Compare the casino's licence statement with the sentence on our sister sites page. If a number or register is not published, nobody can check it for you.
  • Note your payout route. Withdrawals go back to the deposit source, so decide how you will cash out before the first deposit. The verification page lists the documents to have ready.
  • Ask live chat to confirm. If two sources differ, ask the casino in writing and keep the answer.

FAQ

Fact-Checking FAQ

How do you fact check the figures on this site?

Every figure is read from an official Aussie Play page, mainly the terms, the banking page and the promotion pages, and compared with the wording on this site before it is published. A banner or a social post never counts as a source. The date of the last pass is shown on each page as "Last checked".

Who does the checking?

One editor, Nathan Boyle, writes, checks and dates every page. He has covered Australian online casinos since 2017 and is based in Melbourne. His profile is on the About page.

How often are pages checked again?

Payment and bonus pages get a monthly review, and every other page a quarterly one. A page is also checked again whenever the casino changes its terms or a reader reports a difference.

What happens when you find a mistake?

The figure is corrected, not quietly removed, and the updated and last checked dates on the page move. Reader reports are looked at within two business days, and the About page explains how to send one.

Do the evaluation weights give Aussie Play a score?

No. The weights only reflect the attention and page space each topic receives while we write: banking and bonus terms carry the most. There is no rating, star count or ranking on this site.

What do you do with facts the casino does not publish?

They are labelled as not published. The licence number and the operating company are examples: we do not guess them, and we do not fill the gap with a likely answer.
